Contribution of chapter in 'The Changing Tide' in 'The Convergence of Nations: why Africa's time is now' published by the OMFIF | publication date: December 2015

Chapter outline: In the past two decades Africa has gradually changed. Sustained and popularly driven political reforms, continued high growth, and better governance have turned a number of African countries from frontier markets into emerging markets. Risks for investors are now comparable to those on other emerging markets. The chapter explores how mitigating these risks is far less about protecting investments, far more about creating room for expansion and opportunity.
